In our modern life autogenic training or auto-training became a part of our lives. They are used to relax and relief stress, to strengthen self-confidence and to get over one’s fears, and finally for autosuggestion during psychological practices.
Today everywhere autogenic training or simply auto-training are applied both by huge corporations for their employees and by ordinary people at home. Moreover, auto-training is used by many highly professional sportsmen to maintain the inner calmness and relieve stress during a competition in order to achieve good results, thanks to less wasting energy on strain. Many stars before their concerts use auto-training to set oneself up for a concert and to get rid of unnecessary worry.
But does it mean? This means that one practicing it by oneself, one reaches autohypnosis and can dehypnotize oneself. By regular practice one can achieve positive effect. The founder of this method is a German psychiatrist Iogann Shults. The method exists since 1932.
Auto- training is a special techniques ( formula ) of autosuggestion , through which a person can make in himself certain changes. Thus, you can change the character traits, habits, and even your age! And much more. From a scientific point of view this phenomenon is sometimes called hypnosis. The strength of such a suggestion is huge and the degree of impact can be compared to the best medicines. Hypnosis is the highest level of self-management, but this is very difficult, almost impossible. Besides, not all people respond to hypnoses.
How does auto-training work? Words can treat, though it seems unusual. A drug is another thing, for we can see and feel it physically. But the words may have a material force. After all, words make us react! Words, by means of their meaning deeply affect the human psyche, and through it they affect acting the entire body. Auto- training can significantly enhance the impact of the word!
Auto-training will be more effective if we take into account a number of factors. To make words work with maximum efficiency, it is necessary that the human brain was disturbed by external and internal environment as little as possible. In this case, the brain is able entirely to focus on what one hears.

Thus, the impact of words during auto-training increases when:
- one is interested in one hears, and the said is desirable to him;
- words do not evoke criticism, resistance;
- during auto-training one is a little bit excited, but not annoyed;
- during auto-training one is a little bit physically tired;
- muscles are as relaxed as possible, and therefore they do not send signals to the brain;
- there are no sounds or signals from the surrounding environment.
