Lately I have become much interested in homeopathy. My friend is a doctor and he keeps telling me that homeopathy is not medical science but kind of well advertised placebo.
Another friend is a trained homeopathy master. He prepares intravenous and intramuscular homeopathy injections for my mother, my wife, our dog and myself.
While the conventional doctor rejects any possibility of homeopathy working, personally, I believe I can feel the action even though I am quite a healthy person with no obvious health problems. My wife used to have fits of extreme dizziness for almost five years. She lost a lot of time and bags of money for conventional doctors of various medical specification and - nada. Last year she tried Vertigo-Heel homeopathy injections and forgot about her problem since then.
Conventional doctor says that homeopathy solutions are just clear water either with fade traces of some other substance or even without any other molecules than water itself. And thus, it can produce nothing but placebo.
I just can't understand why it can do the job when real medicine fails.
“Maybe it meant something. Maybe not, in the long run, but no explanation, no mix of words or music or memories can touch that sense of knowing that you were there and alive in that corner of time and the world. Whatever it meant.”

I am not a big expert but as far as I know homeopathy has neither been proven to be wrong nor otherwise. It may really deliver results but this may depend on patient's believing in this untraditional medical system. So, that can be regarded a placebo because a person believes in the power of homeopathy and gets better not through the curing properties but because one believes in it so much that it makes one actually feel better sometimes.
Because it is really difficult to accept that pure (or almost pure) water can handle any really serious illness :-)

You may be very wrong if you really believe pure water cannot cure. In fact, I think water is a real panacea for most of human health problems. There is scientific data of undisputed credibility which proves that special techniques and methods can turn common H2O into the most powerful and effective cure for a wide range of human disorders.
Structurized water prepared through electrolysis or other ways deals with illnesses ranging from cancer, tumors, high or low blood pressure to burns, lung, stomach, skin diseases, etc.
The results often merge with fantastic. Some of such methods and techniques are ancient, other are just discovered but the fact is they work in their own ways and statistics proves it without any doubt.
I have a personal experience of using catalytic and anolytic water in my family for over three years now. A lot can be said about it but 'magic' probably gives the best idea.

It is a very interesting topic that you have started here. Personally, I , myself caught myself wondering several times whether homeopathy can actually cure people or if it is just simply a theory with no prove and justification. Based on the research that I’ve made, I found that homeopathy actually does not have any scientific support. Moreover, homeopathic remedies have often been criticized as unethical and harming people’s well-being. On the other hand, homeopathy has quite a big number of its followers and supporters that believe in the curing feature of water, that is believed “to have memory “. Thus, it is believed that homeopathy actually originated as far as in about 400 BC when Hippocrates prescribed a small doze of mandrake root, that caused mania when used in larger doses to treat mania. Then, in the 16th century Paracelsus stated that what makes a man ill is also able to cure him. However, despite the early originations of homeopathy, it is Samuel Hahnemann who is considered to be the actual founder of the homeopathy.
Most of the articles and sources that I’ve had to go through define homeopathy as alternative medicine that has no any scientific support and prove. Moreover, scientists have long regarded homeopathy as a sham. However there is also simply a lack of some statistical data which consistently presents a number of cases when homeopathy cured a patient. There have been some abstract explanations and experiments that propose why homeopathy might work, however all of them were suggested by non specialists and with no scientific and concrete support.
Myself, I have heard about rare cases when homeopathy has proved to be efficient. However, I still believe that the percentage of successful treatments is very low and moreover, it may be bring unpleasant consequences after.

That's exactly my idea of homeopathy effectiveness too, mate. It is obvious that human organism is one big mystery, and sometimes people get rid of incurable diseases where conventional medicine fails through sheer willpower and desire to live. But such cases are so extremely rare that can be compared to miracles by the frequency of their occurrence. Definitely, such rare accidents cannot support any credible medical technique.
One may ask then why homeopathy prospers for over 150 years by now if it does not provide a considerable curing percentage. I believe that placebo effect and human hope for a miracle are responsible for homeopathy success and are the basis of its existence in modern medicine.
Besides, when people are told that British Queen (God Save Her) has her own homeopathy doctor they get their final confirmation that homeopathy is the real deal!

No one can heal better than mother nature. Since I was a teenager I had so many spots on my face. I was so ugly...Tried everything from cheap to very expensive solutions, tinctures, ointments and so on - nothing helped.
No long ago, a friend of mine who likes preparing natural things like shampoos, soaps, creams, told me to use oats for my skin problems together with honey and lemon. Guys, you won't believe it. It worked!
My conclusion is that homeopathy is in no case a placebo, but a very effective way to get healthy!!!
Some people create their own storms, then get upset if it rains.
